Yes, I am a qualified aqua phobia coach, and we can go through any concerns you have before the lesson. The lesson is designed specifically with you in mind, so we will go at a pace that suits you.
Yes, I have trained many different people wanting to achieve various goals such as, timed swims for different aquatic tests e.g., armed forces/scuba diving/RLSS lifeguards; Competitive swimmers training for competitions (including open water); Swimmers wanting to complete a charity event.
I can supply all the equipment needed. If you feel there is something else you would like to use/try, please let me know.
I would advise you to wear a hat if you have long hair to help reduce resistance and to make your swim more comfortable. However this is optional.
I would advise having goggles for each lesson, we then have the option to use them or remove them depending on the lesson plan.
All pools and sites have different risk assessments and procedures. These will need to be followed at all times. This information will be made available to you before the first lesson.
All lessons need to be booked and paid for one week before the session.
Rescheduling a lesson can be done up to 48 hours before a session. If cancelling within the 48 hours, I will not be able to reschedule or refund. Please be aware that there maybe additional costs if using a hire pool when cancelling.
If you/your child cannot make a lesson, but would like someone to substitute in for the lesson e.g., a friend or other family member, please make contact before the lesson.
